American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand Foundation (ATF)

The American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand Foundation has fundamentally transformed educational access and workforce development in Thailand over two decades. Since its formal registration in 2004 as a recognized Public Charitable Organization by the Ministry of Finance (registration number 632), the ATF has awarded more than 3,200 university scholarships.

100% of all donations go to scholarships and direct program costs. No funds are allocated to administrative overhead, as operational support is fully provided by the American Chamber of Commerce staff and the Community Projects Council.

Scholarship Program

Each year ATF enables disadvantaged Thai vocational and university students to complete their studies through targeted scholarships. Our Community Engagement Committee works directly with universities to identify hard-working and motivated students enrolled in programs championed by AMCHAM member companies, such as business, science, mathematics, computer science, engineering and tourism & hospitality management.

Our scholarship graduates have gone on to find employment with Chevron, Esso, Ford, Nestle, Bayer, Cargill, and other AMCHAM member companies, contributing to the overall development of the Thai economy and society.

Career Camps

For our students, life skills are as critical to their success as their university studies. To prepare our graduates for the working world, ATF brings them together for a three-day career planning seminar in Bangkok.

AMCHAM members donate time and resources to organize workshops on basic financial planning skills, resume writing, mock interviews, career planning sessions and facility visits.
