AMCHAM interns receive exposure to a wide variety of business-related fields including administration, corporate public policy, economics, marketing, public relations, and legal and regulatory policy. In addition to their daily duties, AMCHAM interns have the opportunity to attend AMCHAM meetings and events where they can meet and network with successful business leaders, as well as hear presentations from Thai and international guest speakers.

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate institution
  • Must be a Thai citizen or, if non-Thai, must hold a valid education visa and residency permit for Thailand 
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Friendly and open to assisting with a variety of office duties
  • Willing to attend and help at events, occasionally in the evenings or weekends
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and web-based tools
  • Basic knowledge of the economy and governmental policies are beneficial
  • Internships are full-time for a minimum of 3 months

 

As a non-profit organization, AMCHAM is not able to offer its interns monetary compensation. Interns are expected to cover transportation costs to and from Thailand (if applicable) and arrange their own accommodation.
