Growth in Thai Overseas Investment: A Look at the Numbers

After the slowdown of Thai overseas investments, a result of the Asian Financial Crisis in 1997, Thai foreign direct investment outflows increased continuously from 2005-2010, rising from $551 million in 2005 to $8.1 billion in 2010.
