The AMCHAM Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Council hosted a presentation on solar energy investments and cost-saving solar panel options. Speakers discussed current government policies supporting solar installation and renewable energy adoption, including the Board of Investment’s incentives, Direct Power Purchasing Agreement and Third-Party Access (Direct PPA/TPA), Renewable Energy Certificate (REC), and the Utility Green Tariff (UGT). Before concluding, participants discussed renewable energy procurement options and the future of Thailand’s clean energy initiatives.
