About the Committee
Mission: The Inclusion Committee aims to deliver programs to help members share best practices around DEI and inclusion in the workplace as well as events addressing concerns shared by women, LBGTQ+, people with disabilities, or neurodiverse and other specific groups. Through raising awareness, the Committee aims to create allies and champions in their respective personal and professional space.
2025 Highlights:
- Held five meetings to discuss key member issues including working meetings. To mark International Women’s Day, the committee organized a panel discussion with a diverse range of voices from the public and private sector. Speakers included Kuanruthai Siripatthanakosol of the United Nations Global Compact Network Thailand (UNGCNT); Prim Rajasurang Wongkrasaemongkol of Child Teach Child; Allison Morris of Kenan Asia Foundation; and Orapun (Nib) Pratheeptham of McKinsey & Company.
- In collaboration with AustCham and BCCT, the committee hosted a Take Tea with Pride afternoon high tea event to bring the community together for a celebratory event. Guest speaker Steph Galera of Open for Business, presented on progress and trends in LGBTQ+ inclusion both regionally and in Thailand, followed by moderated small group discussions.
- Jointly with the Human Capital Committee, hosted Breaking Barriers: Recognizing Discrimination and Transforming the Thai Workplace.
Speakers Neil Russell of Bangkok Silicon Solutions and Dusita Khanijou of Tilleke & Gibbins presented on legal and practical issues surrounding workplace experience.
