AMCHAM Women

Mission. AMCHAM Women strives to be the premier professional network for women in Thailand. AMCHAM Women is committed to empowering female members and to delivering programs focused on their leadership development. The Committee believes that by empowering professional women, they can drive economic growth and social development in Thailand as well as the home countries of members.

2022 Accomplishments:

• Teamed up with the Young Professionals Committee to invite dynamic young women CEOs and Country Managers of multinational tech companies for an evening networking event on ‘Finding the Missing Rung.’
• Teamed up with AMCHAM Women Singapore and Vietnam for a webinar “Women in Business: Ties that Bind: Logistics, Supply Chain and Trade connectivity in Southeast Asia”.
• Organized three webinars: ‘Stand Up Against Street Harassment’, ‘How to Kick Start DEI’ (jointly with the HR Committee) and Women in STEM’ (jointly with the CSR Committee).
• Keynote speakers through the year included Nok Maneerut Anulomsombut, CEO, SEA Thailand; April Srivikorn, Country Manager, Google Cloud Thailand; Prae Dumrongmongcolgul, Country Director, Facebook Thailand; Deborah Seifert, Country Manager Thailand and Indochina, Pfizer; Chutima Sribunrungsart, Executive Vice President, Human Resources, Gulf Energy Development; Steph Galera, DEI Senior Consultant, Agoda and Sakchai Sae-Seai, Vice President of Strategy Business Performance and Commercial, Chevron, Dr Deborah Elms, Founder and Executive Director Asian Trade Center, Arpaporn Samabhandhu, Managing Director Thailand and New Territories of Johnson & Johnson, Billie Tan, President at UPS South Asia Pacific.

About the Committee: AMCHAM Women’s purpose of connecting women across different professions, cultures, and backgrounds came to life in the sessions this year. With a strong focus on Women in STEM as well as Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, the Committee proudly ran a number of events to engage, inspire, and empower women across the country and the region.
