Chevron’s support has been valuable in directing advocacy initiatives and government affairs activity contributing to a robust, open and strong local economy to help member companies grow. Chevron continues to step up to represent AMCHAM Thailand at key business forums and events.

The company supplies natural gas, condensate and crude oil for Thailand. Over 40 years ago, Chevron became the first company to discover and produce natural gas in the Gulf of Thailand. In 1981, eight years after the discovery of the first commercial natural gas field, production began. Since then, natural gas has become the major source of energy for electricity generation in Thailand and has driven the development of the country’s petrochemical industry.
Chevron (Thailand) Limited, a subsidiary wholly owned by Chevron has been serving customers in Thailand for more than 7 decades under the Caltex brand.
The lubricants supply chain in Thailand is also one of Chevron’s seven production and export hubs for lubricating oil and grease, selling products under the Caltex brand to more than 20 countries. The company markets and distributes an extensive range of quality lubricants to serve the needs of commercial, consumer, and industrial customers, namely, Delo products for diesel vehicles, Havoline products for petrol vehicles and lubricant products for commercial industries.
While providing reliable energy supplies and quality products and services for the Thai people over the past several decades, Chevron is committed to operating within the ESG (environmental, social, and governance) framework.
Chevron’s Corporate Social Responsibility
Chevron has been helping communities succeed through its social investment programs and powering human energy across the world. In 2025, Chevron was the recipient of the “Thai Development Award” at the AMCHAM Corporate Social Impact Awards. The “Thai Development Award” is one of three special honors presented to organizations that deliver projects with exceptional positive social impact. Chevron received this recognition for its long-standing initiative, the “Lower Carbon Biogas Rubber Project.” Developed in collaboration with the Energy Systems Research Institute (PERIN) at Prince of Songkhla University, the project empowers local communities with knowledge and funds to adopt biogas systems, integrate solar energy solutions, and implement a Zero Waste model in smoked rubber sheet production. By converting wastewater into biogas for smoking rubber sheets, the initiative produces low-carbon smoked rubber sheets while addressing environmental challenges such as foul odors and wastewater from traditional methods.
Chevron was also honored with the “AMCHAM Corporate Social Impact Award” at the Platinum level for the 16th consecutive year, reflecting its sustained commitment to social development under the ESG framework—Environmental stewardship, Social responsibility, and transparent, ethical Governance.
