Dow Thailand
Plastic waste is a growing environmental and public health challenge in Rayong, driven by increasing waste volumes, open burning, and improper disposal. To address these issues, Dow helped establish the Ban Chang Material Recovery Facility (MRF) through a public-private partnership integrating circular economy infrastructure with a community-owned social enterprise model. Dow co-invested in the project and contributed engineering, safety, and operational expertise co-designing with the Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR) to optimize operations and develop a sustainable community business model. The Thai Government co-funded the initiative, while TISTR provided recycling technologies and SMART digital management systems. Municipalities supported infrastructure and policy development, and communities participated through source segregation and local ownership. Since 2023, the MRF has processed more than 61 tons of recyclables, avoided over 114 tons of CO₂-equivalent emissions, generated more than 333,000 baht in income, created eight inclusive jobs, and engaged 729 community members.
Suntory Beverage & Food (Thailand)
BRAND’S Bring Back goes beyond recycling education to build a circular economy that promotes environmental sustainability and public health. In partnership with the Pollution Control Department and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), the program equips students with the knowledge, skills, and tools to practice waste segregation, recycling, reuse, and repurposing at school and in their communities. In 2025, the initiative delivered waste segregation and waste bank workshops to nearly 5,700 students across ten pilot schools in Bangkok. To expand its impact, waste segregation learning kits were distributed to all 437 BMA schools, enabling hands-on learning for more than 256,000 students. Students were also encouraged to share their knowledge with families, extending the program’s impact beyond classrooms. By improving waste segregation at source, the program reduces recyclable contamination, strengthens resource recovery, and supports a more efficient circular economy. Through long-term behavior change, school-led reuse and upcycling, and multi-sector collaboration, BRAND’S Bring Back is establishing sustainable waste management systems for cleaner environment and healthier communities.

Steps Consulting
Thailand has long lacked nationally recognized vocational pathways that prepare neurodivergent people and persons with disabilities (PWDs) for meaningful employment. Steps addresses this gap by partnering with the TPQI to develop and pilot Thailand’s first nationally accredited employment pathway for neurodivergent learners. The program combines personalized learning, vocational qualifications, workplace readiness and internships, enabling learners to gain industry-relevant skills, earn recognized credentials and transition to employment. Between 2024 and 2026, 15 learners participated in accredited Digital Literacy and Barista pathways, with 10 graduating. Of these, 95% reported stronger self-advocacy, 70% progressed to workplace experience, and 40% of graduates transitioned into employment or paid internships. Employers benefit from access to skilled, job-ready talent and guidance to strengthen inclusive recruitment and workplace confidence. National accreditation enables vocational institutions, employers and training providers to adopt the program and expand access across Thailand, strengthening workforce inclusion and creating lasting social and economic value for individuals, businesses, and communities.
