Meeting with Thailand Trade Representative Nongnuth Phetcharatana

On July 24, AMCHAM Executive Director Heidi Gallant met with Thailand Trade Representative Ms. Nongnuth Phetcharatana to exchange views on the long-standing and mutually beneficial trade relationship between Thailand and the United States. Both parties discussed opportunities to further strengthen economic ties by promoting greater trade, investment, and business collaboration between the two countries.

The discussion also explored potential areas of cooperation to enhance Thailand–U.S. relations beyond commerce, particularly in education and investment. The meeting reaffirmed the importance of continued collaboration between public and private sector stakeholders in advancing bilateral relations and creating new opportunities for growth and innovation between the two countries.
