About the Council

Mission: To be the representative platform for various healthcare industry stakeholders to promote trade missions involving healthcare innovations, improved healthcare ecosystems, market access, regulatory efficiency and intellectual property protection aimed at better health outcomes and supporting a thriving Thai economy.

2025 Highlights:

Held five meetings to discuss key member issues including working meetings and speaker presentations regarding sustainable healthcare financing, AI and intellectual property in healthcare.
Hosted a video conference featuring Dr. Cholachit Vorawangso Virakul, Assistant Secretary General of the EECO, to discuss Medical Hub Opportunities in the Eastern Economic Corridor.
Hosted a video conference featuring Dr. Kiat Ruxrungtham, former Director of Chula Vaccine Research Center (VRC), School of Global Health (Chula SGH) to discuss Innovations for Access: Advancing RNA Technologies and Clinical Trial Hubs.
Hosted a video conference featuring Akrim Jantaraprapa, Head of Consulting & Analytics, IQVIA Thailand to discuss U.S. Tariffs and the impact on Healthcare in Thailand.
Preparing a Recommendation Letter on Market Competition under the B-READY assessment for the OPDC and relevant agencies.
