The American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand (AMCHAM) is the leading international business association in Thailand.
AMCHAM creates positive impact in the Kingdom of Thailand through capacity building, advocacy and networking for our members.
AMCHAM is an independent, non-partisan, non-profit organization. We maintain collaborative relationships with the U.S. Embassy Bangkok and affiliated U.S. government institutions. AMCHAM is also a member of the Board of Trade of Thailand (BOT), and liaises regularly with different ministries in the Royal Thai Government. We are active regionally through the AmChams of the Asia Pacific (AAP) and in the U.S. as an accredited member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Chatit Huayhongtong is President of Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd., a position he assumed in May 2021. As president, he is responsible for upstream operations in Thailand. Chatit began his career with Chevron in 2002 and over a 20-year period has held numerous engineering and leadership positions of increasing responsibility around the world, including in the United Kingdom and United States.
Prior to becoming President, Chatit served as General Manager for Operations from 2018; as General Manager for Asset Development from 2016; as Asset Manager of Pailin Asset from 2013; and as Deputy Asset Manager of Platong Asset from 2011. Chatit graduated from Chulalongkorn University with an MA in Business Administration in 2003 and a BA in Petroleum Engineering in 1994.

Sondra Sutton Phung is General Manager – Global Ranger & Everest at Ford Motor Company, responsible for Ford’s Global Truck Company across ASEAN, Australia/NZ, Middle Ease, South America, and Europe. Her 27 years experience at Ford Motor Company, includes 6 years in China, 3 years in Japan and the past 3 and half years in Thailand, with extensive experience in brand and product marketing, global operations management, complexity reduction, and building trust-based internal and external relationships. Sondra holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Master of Science in Mathematics from Clark Atlanta University.
Raymond Deidrick

Ingredion Incorporated
Ray holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Trine University and a master’s degree in supply chain management from Penn State University. He worked for Ingredion from 2001-2019, holding operations leadership roles in the U.S. and Asia, before leaving to lead AgriProtein, a start-up business utilizing insects to recycle food waste with operations in the U.S., Europe, and Africa. Ray rejoined Ingredion in 2023 to lead their ASEAN business as Vice President and General Manager, Texture & Healthful Solutions, based in Bangkok.
Ray is passionate about driving sustainable solutions that result in positive environmental, commercial, and social outcomes for business and the community. He currently represents Ingredion’s APAC business on their global sustainability council as well as sponsors Ingredion’s All Life Impact Team, a group of Ingredion team members who meet to share best practice and drive bottom-up improvement in sustainability.

Seagate Technology
Norachet Saetang is the Thailand Country Manager and Senior Vice President of Seagate Technology, overseeing operations at both Korat and Teparuk. He leads the end-to-end manufacturing of advanced storage technologies and system products, driving innovation across engineering, R&D, and global financial services. With a career at Seagate spanning over three decades, Norachet has played a key role in shaping the company’s strategic direction in Thailand. Since his appointment as Country Manager in 2023, he has led more than 14,000 employees, fostering a culture of operational excellence, technological advancement, and sustainable growth across Seagate’s Thai operations.
Philip Bernard

Senior Vice President, Global HDD Operations
Western Digital
Philip Bernard is the Senior Vice President of Global HDD Operations, with over 30 years of experience in the hard drive industry. He has held executive positions in engineering and operations at Western Digital Corporation in both Asia and the United States. In his current role, based in Thailand, he leads WD’s main operation in Thailand together with pilot factories overseas, as well as engineering support ranging from tools and test equipment design to sustaining engineering in many countries. Philip holds multiple patents in the field of storage engineering and is a strong advocate for Industry 4.0 technologies, contributing to both industry and academic advancements.
Philip Bernard, through Western Digital’s membership in Malaysia, has been an active participant and strong supporter of AMCHAM Malaysia activities during his tenure in Kuala Lumpur. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he closely partnered with AMCHAM Malaysia CEO Datuk Siobhan Das on initiatives aimed at supporting the efforts of the relevant Malaysian authorities/agencies that were grappling with the pandemic. Their efforts focused on allowing a significant number of electrical and electronics-based manufacturing companies to continue operating as critical industries despite the country’s total lockdown. This was crucial in alleviating the severe shortages of electronic components affecting the global supply chain at that time.
On the academic front, Philip Bernard served as a member of the Industrial Advisory Panel for the School of Engineering and Computer Engineering at Monash University’s Malaysian campus from 2012 to 2015. In March 2021, he was appointed as the Industrial Advisor for the Physics Department at Xiamen University Malaysia.

Winnie brings over 20 years of experience working in various ASEAN markets, with deep insights into commercial payments solutions, banking and the consumer goods sector. She has served as Country Manager for Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia since 2018, where she plays a pivotal role in establishing an ecosystem for safe and secure payments. Her efforts are instrumental in engaging regulators and stakeholders in creating a cashless and financially inclusive society. She was recently appointed as Country Manager for Thailand and Myanmar, and will continue Mastercard’s efforts to connect and power an inclusive digital economy.

Ririnda currently serves as Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer (CSIO) of Betagro Group, one of Asia’s leading integrated food companies. In this role, she is responsible for shaping the Group’s long-term strategy, transformation, innovation and communications, driving sustainable growth across Betagro’s agribusiness, food and international operations.
Prior to joining Betagro, Ririnda held senior leadership role in strategy, investor relations, public relations and corporate affairs at Minor International Pcl., a leading multinational hospitality and restaurant group, with extensive experience engaging global investors, government agencies and international partners.
Ririnda brings a strong cross-industry perspective spanning food, hospitality and consumer sectors, with deep expertise in strategy formulation, M&A and stakeholder engagement.
Wiyada Srinaganand

Wiyada is currently the Country Leader of 3M Thailand. She joined 3M as General Counsel and Management Operating Committee with over 20 years of experience in private practice and as in-house counsel. She started her career as an associate at Coopers & Lybrand Thailand, moved to White & Case Thailand and Norton Rose Thailand and joined Michelin Thailand as General Counsel.
Prior to taking her current position, Wiyada’s role at 3M was expanded to Women’s Leadership Chair and Diversity & Inclusion Champion and from the legal pillar, she was recognized as Southeast Asia Legal 500 Powerlist Individual in 2019.

Citibank
Narumon is the Citi Country Officer and Banking Head for Citi Thailand. She also oversees Citi’s business activity in Cambodia, Myanmar & Laos.
Prior to this assignment she was Citi Thailand Head of Markets & Securities Services from January 2015. Narumon has been a member of the Thailand Financial Markets Committee (TFMC) since its inception in 2015, elected to represent the Association of International Banks in TFMC.
A 28-year homegrown Citibanker, Narumon joined Citi Thailand in 1996 as a Management Associate and has held various leadership roles in our Markets business in Thailand including FX and Derivative Trading, Corporate Sales and Structuring and, Derivative Structuring. She led and grew the Investor Sales business in Thailand from 2011 to 2014 before leading Markets and Securities Services from 2015 to 2021.
From 2015 to 2019, Narumon was a representative of the Association of International Banks (AIB) within the Thailand Financial Markets Committee (TFMC) to help develop Thailand’s financial markets for two terms. She has been a Board of Director of Thai Bond Market Association (TBMA) since 2022 and have been newly appointed as a Board of Director of Association of International Banks (AIB) since September 2023.

Sasathorn Phaspinyo

Sasathorn Phaspinyo is the Managing Director of Thailand Operations at FedEx Express, one of the world’s largest express transportation companies. He leads more than 1,100 team members and oversees the planning and execution of corporate strategies and operations across Thailand.
Joining FedEx in 2004 as an Engineer, Sasathorn brings over two decades of experience in driving operational excellence and business growth at both local and regional levels. He has held leadership roles spanning Operations Management, Planning and Engineering, and Customs Clearance across Thailand and Southeast Asia.
Throughout his career, Sasathorn has played a key role in major initiatives in Thailand and the Asia Pacific region. He is a two-time recipient of the FedEx Five-Star Award—the company’s highest honor—recognizing his contributions to improving customer experience and operational efficiency in 2011 and his leadership in regional cross-functional projects in 2021.
Sasathorn holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Chulalongkorn University and a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah.

He also serves as a public figure in technology thought leadership, actively participating in and speaking at numerous industry events. Additionally, he engages in various academic and non-profit programs to elevate future digital skills for Thais, including initiatives with DEPA, BUU, CMU, and KMITL.

A leader with broad based knowledge of real estate development and project finance in ASEAN, and online start-ups, Charles brings more than two decades of experience in capital raising, corporate finance, and commercial real estate to IC Partners Limited. Established in January 2011, and based in Bangkok, Thailand, IC Partners serves as a financial advisor and investor for a number of hospitality and industrial-related joint venture investments, and a handful of tech start-ups. IC Partners also serves as asset and investment manager for five family offices in Southeast Asia. IC Partners works with various capital partners, venture funds, and international hotel operators to advise investors on development planning, capital raising, deal structuring, and contractual matters.
Charles earned an MBA with honors from the Kenan‐Flagler Business School, University of North Carolina‐Chapel Hill. He currently serves as a Trustee of The Kenan Foundation Asia and is a member of its Executive Committee. Charles served as a Governor and Vice President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand from 2004 through 2007, held numerous co-chair committee positions over the years, and served as a Governor, Secretary, and Vice President from 2021 through 2024. He is currently a Co-Chair of the Aerospace Council and remains active within the Tourism & Hospitality Council.

Prae is Country Director of Facebook, Thailand from Meta. Her focused area is driving economic impact for the country by empowering businesses of all sizes in Thailand to better connect with their consumers and communities through digital and commerce.
Prior to Meta, Prae was a Managing Director and Partner at Boston Consulting Group, Thailand. She has advised clients in a wide range of industries and across topics related to digital transformation and growth. She has more than 15 years of industry experience and has worked across SEA.
Prae earned her B.S. in Systems Engineering from University of Virginia and her MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Prae is a strong believer in social impact and passionate about bringing positive changes to local communities.
