AMCHAM ChariTee Golf Tournament Raises Over 550,000 Baht Toward Scholarships for 140 Thai Students

Funds raised will support scholarships for Thai university and vocational students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand (AMCHAM) raised over 550,000 baht at its annual AMCHAM ChariTee Golf Tournament on September 18. The funds will support the American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand Foundation (ATF) and its goal of providing scholarships to 140 Thai students pursuing university and vocational education this year.

Held at Alpine Golf Club, the tournament brought together members of Thailand’s international business community to raise funds for students who might otherwise face financial barriers to continuing their education.

“The AMCHAM ChariTee Golf Tournament is more than a fundraiser—it is a cornerstone event that generates crucial funds for our scholarship program while bringing the AMCHAM community together in a spirit of unity and purpose,” said Heidi Gallant, AMCHAM Executive Director and Vice President of the ATF. “The participation and support of our members underscore the international business community’s dedication to investing in Thailand’s future workforce.”

This annual event was made possible through the generous support of sponsors, including Air Canada, Boonrawd Brewery, Constant Energy, Delta Air Lines, EVA Air, Ford Motor Company, LawtonAsia, Mastercard, Minor International, Nichada Properties, Pacific Prime Thailand, Phyathai Hospital, RMA Group, STARLUX Airlines, The Siam Beverage Collective, TOS Group, and Vantive Healthcare.

หอการค้าอเมริกันในประเทศไทยจัดงานกอล์ฟการกุศลเพื่อระดมทุนกว่า 550,000 บาท เพื่อสนับสนุนทุนการศึกษาแก่นักศึกษาไทย 140 คน

เมื่อวันที่ 18 กันยายนที่ผ่านมา หอการค้าอเมริกันในประเทศไทย หรือแอมแชม ไทยแลนด์ (AMCHAM Thailand) จัดงานกอล์ฟการกุศลประจำปีเพื่อระดมทุนกว่า 550,000 บาท เพื่อสานต่อเป้าหมายในการมอบทุนการศึกษาแก่นักศึกษาไทยจำนวน 140 คนที่กำลังศึกษาในระดับมหาวิทยาลัยและอาชีวศึกษาในปีนี้

การแข่งขันกอล์ฟการกุศลซึ่งจัดขึ้นที่สนามกอล์ฟ อัลไพน์ กอล์ฟ คลับในครั้งนี้ได้รวบรวมชุมชนธุรกิจนานาชาติมาร่วมระดมทุนเพื่อช่วยเหลือกลุ่มนักศึกษาไทยที่ขาดแคลนทุนทรัพย์ในการศึกษาต่อ

“การแข่งขันกอล์ฟการกุศลของแอมแชมไม่ได้เป็นเพียงแค่กิจกรรมระดมทุนเท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นกิจกรรมหลักที่สร้างเงินทุนที่สำคัญให้กับโครงการทุนการศึกษาของเรา อีกทั้งยังเป็นการรวมตัวกันของชุมชนแอมแชมให้เป็นหนึ่งเพื่อเป้าหมายเดียวกัน” ไฮดี้ แกลแลนท์ ผู้อำนวยการหอการค้าอเมริกันในประเทศไทย และรองประธานมูลนิธิหอการค้าอเมริกันในประเทศไทยกล่าว “การมีส่วนร่วมและการสนับสนุนจากสมาชิกตอกย้ำถึงความมุ่งมั่นของภาคธุรกิจระหว่างประเทศในการลงทุนเพื่อบุคลากรในอนาคตของประเทศไทย”
