Meeting with the U.S. Food and Agricultural Agencies

On April 29, the AMCHAM Food, Beverage & Agribusiness Council led a delegation of AMCHAM members in a meeting with representatives from the Department of Agriculture of the U.S. embassy in Bangkok, the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA), U.S. Meat Export Federation, and state Departments of Food & Agriculture.

The meeting featured a constructive exchange of views on food and agricultural trade, highlighting opportunities to promote imports and exports between the U.S. and Thailand. The discussion also addressed key regulatory challenges for beverages and market access. Both parties shared sustainability and regenerative practices before committing to strengthen collaboration to promote shared economic interests.
