Meeting with Digital Economy Promotion Agency – Jan 7

Event Highlights:

On January 7, AMCHAM Government Affairs Director Jen Meckhayai, along with AMCHAM Digital Economy Committee Co-Chairs Randy McGraw of Sertis, Kulnisha Srimontien of Price Sanond, Sarinthorn (Jyoti) Sachavirawong of Asia Group Advisors, and Piriya Piriyakrit of Bower Group Asia welcomed delegates from the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (DEPA). The delegation was led by Kasama Kongsmak, Executive Vice President of the Digital Strategy and Security Promotion Unit at DEPA and joined by Steven Rynecki of USAID, who participated to explore potential USAID support for the collaboration. 

During the meeting, DEPA and AMCHAM discussed collaboration opportunities to support the Thai government’s human resource development initiatives for the digital economy. They also reviewed DEPA’s efforts to enhance the government’s public procurement system using digital solutions.
