Roundtable Meeting with Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI) 

On August 30, 2023, AMCHAM Vice President Deborah Seifert of Pfizer led AMCHAM Board of Governors and members in a meeting with TDRI Vice President Dr. Sumet Ongkittikul and his fellow researchers at the TDRI office, including Dr. Kiratipong Naewmalee, Dr. Saliltorn Thongmeensuk, and Mr. Gunn Jiravuttipong.

The meeting was  a great opportunity for AMCHAM to gain further insights from TDRI's research presentations on regulatory guillotine, AI regulations, and digital platform regulations by research experts. Dr. Kiratipong emphasized the pressing need to reform outdated and redundant laws and regulations due to regulatory inflation. Meanwhile, Dr. Saliltorn provided informative updates on the regulatory landscape of Thailand's digital realm.

The meeting was attended by AMCHAM Platinum members Amazon, Chevron, and Seagate.
