Meet the Embassy @ the U.S. Ambassador's Residence

On May 11, His Excellency Robert F. Godec, the U.S. ambassador to Thailand hosted a "Meet the Embassy" event for members of the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) in Thailand. The event was attended by key department and section heads within the U.S. Embassy, including the Consular, Economic Section, Foreign Agriculture Service, Foreign Commercial Service, Public Affairs, United States Customs and Border Protection (under Homeland Security), United States Patent and Trademark Office, and United States Trade and Development Agency.

During the event, AMCHAM members gained insight into the day-to-day work of the U.S. Embassy and their efforts to promote US-Thailand relations. Ambassador Godec reaffirmed the U.S. Embassy's commitment to helping American businesses achieve their goals in Thailand and strengthening the partnership and relations between the two countries for the long-term benefit of both.
