Senior Bureau Official Harry Kamian from the US Bureau of Energy Resources Meets Long-Standing American Investors in Thailand
Bureau of Energy Resources Senior Bureau Official Harry Kamian met with executives from the energy sector to advance United States-Thailand energy policy dialogue, at a luncheon hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) in Thailand. The attendees included business leaders from energy and infrastructure industries such as Chevron, Seagate, Black & Veatch, Honeywell, General Electric, along with US Embassy officials and the AMCHAM President and Executive Director.
The meeting provided an opportunity to the business community to interact with the Bureau of Energy Resources Senior Bureau Official Harry Kamian and hear directly about the US Administration’s priorities and strategic goals for climate and energy cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region. The meeting also highlighted the important role of the Thai and US private sectors in the region’s energy future and in achieving global climate goals.
AMCHAM member companies continue to invest in energy infrastructure development and technology transfer for sustainable development in the Kingdom. The business leaders appreciated the administration’s support towards clean energy transitions, talked about their projects, and reiterated their commitment towards driving growth in Thailand’s renewable energy sector.
