The event was a regional cooperation between AmChams of the Asia Pacific (AAP) to provide an update on travel and entry requirements as countries worldwide prepare to re-open their economies. Distinguished speakers provided insights on the impact of Covid-19 on the aviation industry and the outlook, vaccination rollouts, growing vaccine inequity between rich and developing countries, and the latest information on travel to the USA. After the plenary presentations, participants joined destination-specific breakout sessions, where they participated in an interactive discussion about destination-specific information.

AAP is a tool that executives and boards can use to amplify their voice across 27 AmChams in the region.”- AAP Chair Greg Wong, AMCHAM Thailand and Managing Director of Agoda.

“Countries will need to adopt a multi-layered approach to reopening as zero risk is not a sustainable solution.” - Vinoop Goel, International Air Transport Association (IATA)
