New Member Orientation & Meet the Board Candidates - Video Conference

On Oct 14, AMCHAM Thailand was joined by its new and existing members for the AMCHAM 101: New Member Orientation. With over 65 participants, the video conference welcomed nearly 25 new members. 

The video conference call was an opportunity for new members to introduce themselves and meet the AMCHAM Board of Governors and Committee Leaders in an interactive online discussion. Executive Director, Heidi Gallant along with the AMCHAM team shared information on membership benefits, and how new members can amplify their voice and visibility in Thailand’s premier business community. With over 220+ events throughout the year of which 100+ events are free for members, AMCHAM offers a wide range of business services, provide an exclusive platform for professional networking, and cultivate a robust environment for business promotion 

Communications and Marketing Committee Leader John Da Silva, Trade and Investment Committee Leader, Noah Shepherd, Tourism & Hospitality Committee Charles Blocker, Legal Committee Leader Christopher Knight, and YPC Committee Leader Navarerk (Boat) Kaewphakdee were also present to speak with attendees on their programming and different committee activities. 

This meeting also provided members with the opportunity to meet candidates running for the 2021 -2022 Board of Governors and was also an opportunity for the candidates to introduce themselves and explain their reasons for running for the Board. Designate representatives from each member company can register their vote. Results from the election will be announced at the AMCHAM AGM on October 27th. 

This Orientation Meeting was the perfect opportunity for all members – existing and new – to gain valuable insight into all of our benefits, events, and exclusive Chamber offerings. This session was open to all AMCHAM Thailand members who are interested in getting involved with AMCHAM’s diverse business community.
