The Governors’ Table at the Hilton Sukhumvit
On August 27 at the Hilton Sukhumvit, AMCHAM hosted its second The Governors’ Table.
AMCHAM’s Board Governors, Greg Wong of Agoda and Rachel Davidson of Hilton and DoubleTree Bangkok Sukhumvit; were hosts for the evening. At the start of the engagement, Greg spoke about his role as AMCHAM’s President and the Chamber’s pivot to videoconferences in response to Covid-19. This was followed by an introduction by Rachel, who spoke on the challenges facing the tourism and hospitality industry and the new normal for operating in the tourism business. Members who attended the event had a chance to network and share their own experiences with doing business during this time.
This was an opportunity for members to connect with AMCHAM Board Governors in an intimate dinner setting and to connect with other members.
The event was limited to 20 guests to allow meaningful conversations and space considerations for social distancing. Guests were given AMCHAM goody bags with GQ face masks and shields. The social distancing measures provided a safe and comfortable atmosphere for Bangkok’s premiere business community to engage.
