First Virtual AMCHAM Insight Exchange

First Virtual AMCHAM Insight Exchange

On June 24, AMCHAM held its first virtual Insight Exchange; a special networking event designed to help the Chamber’s members to connect, brainstorm and share solutions. Insight Exchange is purposely kept to a group of 20 participants in order to ensure meaningful discussion for everyone involved. AMCHAM Executive Director, Heidi Gallant, started off the meeting with a brisk round of introductions with the members on the call. After attendees gave a short description of their companies, they went on to discuss what they wanted to get out of the meeting. These ranged from asking for recommendations for specific industries, to looking for input on reopening offices, to simply looking for new leads and wanting to simply connect with the membership.

Attendees were then split into different chat rooms with fewer people to help develop communication with the members. AMCHAM staff assisted with leading conversations and helping create networking connections for people unable to share business cards while Working From Home (WFH). The virtual event allowed for a unique opportunity with members that are currently out of the country and unable to meet in person to grow their network. The meeting ended with all participants returning to the main chat room to sign off or to request private chat rooms so that certain individuals could continue their discussions. The AMCHAM Insight Exchange is held monthly, please check the calendar for the next event to take advantage of this special event.
