About the Council
Mission: Support and promote Thailand-based aerospace-oriented industries through effective AMCHAM programs that advance aerospace projects in Thailand and the region. The Aerospace Council aims to strengthen Thailand’s aerospace sector by fostering strong government–industry collaboration, enhancing regulatory clarity and alignment, and improving the global competitiveness of its members. The Council advocates for clear policy execution and practical government guidelines that translate strategy into action—supporting sustainable supply chains, SAF development, education and workforce upskilling, and the continuous upgrading of aerospace industry standards.
Through strengthened and constructive engagement with regulators such as CAAT, AOT, and the Ministry of Transport, the Council works collaboratively to address regulatory challenges and support the development of a new, sustainable ecosystem for MRO manufacturing and business development in Thailand. The Council also focuses on deepening engagement with both Thai and international aerospace networks, connecting members with professionals across Southeast Asia, and advancing Thailand’s position as a global aerospace leader through innovation, sustainability, and strategic regional collaboration.
2025 Highlights:
- Held five video conferences bringing together members of the aerospace and related industries for regular knowledge sharing.
- Monthly meetings covered overall updates in the aviation industry, capacity building for skilled labor in MRO and aviation, among other topics of concern.
- Hosted guest speaker M.L. Nathasit Diskup, President of Bangkok Aviation Fuel Services (BAFS) to provide a market update on Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), and supply and demand trends in Thailand.
- Currently developing a White Paper to promote Thailand as an Aviation Hub.
