Advanced Manufacturing

Mission: To provide a forum for discussion of issues and trends facing the manufacturing industry. To share best practice among members. To collaborate with other councils and committees on all matters relating to manufacturing in the Kingdom.

2025 Highlights:

• Jointly with the Food & Agribusiness Council, organized a full-day tour to Ayutthaya to tour the Western Digital hard disk drive production line, followed by a visit to Singha Brewery, one of the largest breweries in the region.
• Produced a webinar on Safety Culture for Thai Manufacturers, with guest speaker James Wong of ERM-Siam sharing best practices for creating a strong safety culture within organizations.
• Organized a factory visit to Hitachi Energy to tour facility producing cutting-edge green energy solutions.
• Hosted members on a site visit at Seagate Technology to observe the manufacturing process of hard disk drive components.
• Organized a factory tour to Mattel to see one of its largest die cast plants worldwide, producing over 200 million cars annually.
• Hosted a factory visit to Caterpillar underground mining to see underground mining trucks and loaders used in hard-rock mining.
