Chevron has been an AMCHAM member since 1964. Chevron's chief officers have actively served as AMCHAM Presidents on the Board of Governors over the years. Chevron's support has been valuable in directing advocacy initiatives and government affairs activity contributing to a robust, open and strong local economy to help member companies grow. Chevron continues to step up to represent AMCHAM Thailand at key business forums and events. They have been regular sponsors on AMCHAM's monthly luncheons which hosts guest speakers from the government to speak about key business developments in Thailand. Chevron's active involvement in Chamber activities and their regular work advising our secretariat enhances their visibility in the AMCHAM business community. It also creates a positive impact on the socio-economic development in Thailand by leading the path for sustainable energy.
Chevron has also been a constant supporter of the AMCHAM Thailand Foundation (ATF). The ATF has funded the University education of almost 3000 deserving Thai students. The ATF organizes camps for new and graduating students of the program to prepare them for a life after University. Chevron supports the ATF career camp by sending their HR employees to take mock interviews for deserving scholarship students and through their company's own innovations they continue to conduct business in a socially and environmentally responsible manner.

In 2019, Chevron was the recipient of the “Platinum Level” award at the AMCHAM CSR Excellence (ACE) Awards. Chevron took home the CSR Excellence Award for the 10th consecutive year, earning the prestigious platinum level, from its long-standing 4E’s corporate responsibility framework which consists of Education, Environment and energy conservation, Economic development, and Employee engagement.
