Department of Intellectual Property’s Consultation Meeting on Intellectual Property Protection and Enforcement
On September 8, the AMCHAM Healthcare Council leaders represented AMCHAM members at a consultation meeting on intellectual property protection and enforcement led by Auramon Supthaweethum, Director General of the Department of Intellectual Property (DIP). The meeting brought together representatives from the public and private sectors, diplomatic missions, and industry associations to exchange views on intellectual property issues in Thailand.
AMCHAM shared healthcare industry perspectives on strengthening Thailand’s intellectual property ecosystem, including patent examination efficiency, enforcement against counterfeit and parallel imports on healthcare products. AMCHAM also reaffirmed the importance of a predictable IP framework that supports innovation, patient safety, investment, and Thailand’s ambition to become a regional healthcare and life sciences hub.

CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP
Corporate Membership is available to companies registered in Thailand. Corporate Members receive a listing in our Member Directory, the right to nominate up to 10 representatives, and 10 vouchers that may be used at our Member Luncheons (a value of THB 15,000). Members are entitled to one vote.
Entrance Fee: THB 10,000
Annual Dues: THB 39,900
ASSOCIATE STATUS
Associate Company Status is available for companies without registration in Thailand. Their application should be accompanied by registration where the company is headquartered. Associate Companies receive a listing in our Member Directory and the right to nominate 2 representatives. Associate Companies are not considered AMCHAM members and are not entitled to a vote.
Entrance Fee: THB 10,000
Annual Dues: THB 30,000
