On August 11, The AMCHAM Government Affairs Council hosted a session featuring Dr. Arnunchanog Sakondhavat, Acting Senior Advisor at the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC), who shared an overview of Thailand’s draft 14th National Economic and Social Development Plan.
Dr. Arunchanog covered the Plan’s five key pillars: sustainable economic growth, public sector reform, human capital development, environmental sustainability, and technology and innovation. He also welcomed AMCHAM’s feedback as the draft Plan continues to develop. The meeting was followed by discussions on advocacy initiatives on emerging government regulations and policies.
