Small Business & Entrepreneurs

Mission: Provide a platform for small business and entrepreneurs to share their collective entrepreneurial experiences in Thailand, obtain useful information from recognized local experts on challenges that SBE company leaders face, and learn of affordable high-quality services and products that SBE companies can obtain.

2025 Highlights:

• On August 15, the committee hosted a webinar on Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) Essentials for SMEs, designed to
  provide small businesses key principles to minimize disruption in the event of natural disaster or other business-threatening disruption.
  Invited speakers included Alstair Bharata of Marsh McLennan, who provided frameworks to approach developing BCMS for small businesses.
  Marisa Chaichumnan of Western Digital shared real-life cases studies, draw Western Digital, shared real-life cases studies, drawing from Western Digital’s experience with the 2 009 floods in Ayutthaya.
• Organized an in-person event on Small Business, Big Connections: How Multinationals Partner with SMEs, to provide actionable insights into
  leveraging collaborations with MNCs. Speakers included James Lange of Google; Jonathan Powell of Jelly Belly; and Chris Aurand of Thai Union Group; and Philip Bernard of Western Digital.
