Mission: To increase the visibility of key challenges across Thailand’s automotive OEMs, suppliers, and the broader automotive ecosystem while fostering broader engagement among existing and new AMCHAM members to develop aligned, forward-looking industry solutions.

2025 Highlights:

Organized events bringing together auto industry stakeholders online and in person, including:

• Factory visit to Ford’s Thailand manufacturing plant, where members were able to tour state-of-the-art facilities where the Ford Ranger is built.
• Invited guest speaker Jessada Thongpak, Associate Director, S&P Global to present on the ASEAN Automotive updates, sharing regional trends in market growth, regulatory updates, and the impact of emerging technologies.
• Hosted Arkkapat Varnapruk, Chief of the Industrial Section, Bureau of Trade in Goods, Department of Trade Negotiations for a member webinar on Connected Markets: FTA and the Future of the Automotive Supply Chain.
• Panel discussion in Pattaya, entitled Navigating Price Pressures: Automotive Cost Strategies in a Shifting Tariff Landscape. Panel speakers included Rick Hilchner, Managing Director of Bosch Automotive; AJ Dabydin, Senior Managing Director, Carrier Thailand; and Sutheep Ratnabhas, President, Maxion Wheel’s Asia Business.
