AMCHAM Thailand Hosted Multi-Chamber EEC Networking Event
On May 15, the American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand (AMCHAM) successfully hosted the Multi-Chamber EEC Networking event at the InterContinental Pattaya Resort by IHG, Latitude by the Beach, with generous support from Ferrara Jelly Belly, Bank of America, and WHA Group.
The event was organized by AMCHAM in cooperation with AustCham, BCCT, BeLuThai, CanCham, FTCC, GTCC, ITCC, NTCC, SATCC, and STCC. It offered business professionals and entrepreneurs an opportunity to grow their networks, build meaningful connections, and exchange insights across different sectors in a vibrant setting.
Prior to the networking event, the AMCHAM Auto Council, Tax Council, Customs & Excises Council, and Economics & Trade Committee jointly hosted a panel discussion on Shifting Global Dynamics: What It Means for Thailand’s Automotive Industry, moderated by Lyn Kok of Mula-X. The panelists, including John Andes of KPMG Thailand; Paul Sumner of PricewaterhouseCoopers; and Sutheep Ratnabhas of Maxion Wheels, discussed how compliance, supply chains, and certificates of origin are shaping the sector and highlighted the need for Thailand to strengthen workforce skills, technical capabilities, and manufacturing capacity to sustain its role as a regional manufacturing hub.
These events underscore AMCHAM’s ongoing commitment to supporting economic development and innovation on Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor. By bringing together key stakeholders and fostering collaboration, AMCHAM continues to create opportunities for its members to thrive in a rapidly evolving business landscape.
