Community Projects Council: December 2022 Hybrid Meeting – Dec 2
On December 2, 2022, AMCHAM Board of Governors, John Evans of Tractus Asia, Viboon Kromadit of Amata Corporation, and Rachel Davidson of Hilton & DoubleTree Sukhumvit Bangkok; together with Community Project Council Co-chairs, Wanvisa Komindr of Citibank, Atchareeya Bansit of Dale Carnegie, and Scott McCormack of GP Strategies, along with Jonathan Fryer of Mazars, participated in a hybrid Community Projects Council meeting at the AMCHAM Office at True Digital Park.
AMCHAM members discussed potential fundraising activities for 2023, reviewed the AMCHAM Thailand Foundation (ATF)’s scholarship application process to incorporate more students, and visited next year’s agenda. The participants are determined to engage and enlist more students for next year’s 2023 scholarship applications, which for the first time, aims to extend the scholarships program to cover vocational schools. Additionally, the members realized an opportunity for potential collaboration between AMCHAM and the Eastern Economic Corridor Human Development (HDC-HDC) Office to achieve scholarship’s goals next year and to contribute to Thailand educational developments.
