บริษัทสมาชิกของหอการค้าอเมริกันในประเทศไทยได้เริ่มดำเนินธุรกิจในประเทศไทยมาตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2499 โดยมีมูลค่าเงินลงทุนสะสมมานถึงปัจจุบันกว่า 5 หมื่นล้านบาทและก่อให้เกิดการจ้างงานกว่า 200,000 ตำแหน่ง การดำเนินงานของมูลนิธิหอการค้าอเมริกันในประเทศไทย ยังช่วยพัฒนาศักยภาพของเยาวชนไทย ผ่านการสนับสนุนเงินทุนการศึกษาและการอบรมทักษะการทำงาน นอกจากนี้ บริษัทสมาชิกหอการค้าฯ ยังได้ดำเนินโครงการเพื่อสนับสนุนและส่งเสริมการรักษาสิ่งแวดล้อม และให้ความช่วยเหลือในด้านการเข้าถึงบริการสาธารณสุขและการศึกษาแก่ชุมชนทั่วประเทศด้วย

บริษัทสมาชิกของหอการค้าอเมริกันในประเทศไทยได้ดำเนินงานร่วมกับเยาวชนไทยเพื่อส่งเสริมให้เกิดการคืนกำไรสู่สังคม โดยเยาวชนจะได้สัมผัสบรรยากาศการทำงานที่เป็นกันเอง และได้รับโอกาสในการพัฒนาตนเองและเตรียมก้าวไปสู่ความเป็นมืออาชีพในสาขาวิชาชีพต่อไป

AMCHAM companies have been investing in the people and economy of Thailand since 1956, contributing over $50 billion and employing over 200,000 people at any one time. Our AMCHAM Thailand Foundation (ATF) invests in the youth of Thailand by providing scholarships and career skills training, while our member companies lead the way with CRS initiatives to protect the environment, provide access to healthcare and education, and support communities throughout Thailand.

AMCHAM companies continue to work together with the youth of Thailand in jobs that helps them give back to the Thai society, provide a positive work environment, and opportunities to grow personally and professionally.

รางวัล AMCHAM CSR Excellence (ACE) Awards

ความรับผิดชอบขององค์กรต่อสังคม นับเป็นเสาหลักสำคัญของจริยธรรมทางธุรกิจ โดยหอการค้าอเมริกันในประเทศไทยมีความภาคภูมิใจในการดำเนินโครงการเพื่อส่งเสริมการคืนกำไรสู่สังคมและสนับสนุนการพัฒนาธุรกิจและสิ่งแวดล้อมเพื่อส่วนรวมของบริษัทสมาชิกของเรา

เพื่อเชิดชูความพยายามดังกล่าว หอการค้าอเมริกันในประเทศไทยได้มอบรางวัล ACE Recognition แก่บริษัทสมาชิกที่แสดงให้เห็นถึงความเข้าใจอย่างลึกซึ้งในด้านการสร้างความเชื่อมโยงระหว่างการดำเนินธุรกิจร่วมกับสังคม ซึ่งส่งผลดีต่อเศรษฐกิจและสังคมในระยะยาว โดยมุ่งเน้นผลงานชั้นเยี่ยม ที่ไม่ใช่เพียงการดำเนินโครงการรายบุคคลหรือการให้ความช่วยเหลือผ่านเงินทุน แต่เป็นการพัฒนากลยุทธ์การดำเนินธุรกิจเพื่อสร้างความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมในภาพรวม ทั้งนี้ ในปี พ.ศ. 2562 บริษัทสมาชิกของหอการค้าฯ กว่า 66 บริษัทได้รับการรับรอง ACE Recognition นอกจากนี้ ในทุกปี เรายังมีการมอบรางวัลพิเศษอื่น ๆ เฉพาะโครงการที่มีความโดดเด่นในการนำเสนอผลการดำเนินงานเพื่อสร้างความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมด้วย

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a key pillar of ethical business. At AMCHAM, we are proud of what our member companies do to give back to Thailand and Thai society, making the business and social environment better for all of us.

To honor these efforts, AMCHAM awards ACE Recognition to companies that demonstrate an advanced understanding of the linkages between business operations and society, and conduct business in a way that creates long-term economic and social value. Our goal is to identify excellence, not just through individual projects or monetary contributions, but through good internal strategy and systems to support CSR and integrate it throughout the company's business practices. In 2019, 66 AMCHAM members received ACE Recognition status.  In addition, each year we grant a few Special Awards for exceptional individual projects that represent the best of CSR programming.
