Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok presents:
Youth Career Initiative
The purpose of this project is to engage and support disadvantaged youth by providing training, monitoring the program and supporting students to get jobs.
In collaboration with the Youth Career Initiative organization, Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok works to help further the goal of providing employment opportunities to disadvantaged youth through their hotels. Their vision is to bring Hyatt’s purpose of caring for people so they can be their best in their communities through this global signature program that addresses youth unemployment, and helps build a diverse workforce for the hospitality industry of the future.
Moreover, they are resolving the issue of “opportunity youth.” Opportunity youth are those between the ages of 16 and 24, who are neither in school nor working. They help provide the resources that opportunity youth need to grow and to achieve the goal of upskilling and HIRE young people from underserved communities to build their talent pipeline.
Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok collaborates with the rest of the industry, often with multiple hotel brands engaging in one city. YCI is a long-time partner and organization and aligns perfectly with the vision of the hotel.
