About The ATF

AMCHAM formally registered the American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand Foundation (ATF) in 2004 to provide AMCHAM members and other supporters a legal entity to demonstrate their commitment in giving back to their local community. 100% of all cash donations are directed towards ATF projects identified by donors. The ATF charges no administration fees. Donations of books, art supplies, library materials, musical equipment and certain office equipment are also welcome. The ATF is recognized by the Ministry of Finance as a Public Charitable Organization (number 632).

Since 1976, the American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand Foundation (ATF), with the aim to support educational development in Thailand, provides over 2,500 scholarships to underprivileged Thai university students. Our scholarship graduates have gone on to find employment with Chevron, Esso, Ford, Nestle, Bayer, Cargill, and other AMCHAM member companies, contributing to the overall development of the Thai economy and society. Donation through ATF will impact and empower Thai youth to reach their potential and be the future Thailand deserves. For donation inquiry please feel free to contact us.

Orientation & Career Camps

In addition to financial support, ATF sponsors a three-day career planning seminar in Bangkok to provide basic career skills through a variety of activities including facility visits, career planning sessions, resume writing and mock interviews. ATF also invites students receiving the scholarship for the first time to attend a two-day orientation camp with an emphasis on community service.
