The Energy and Environment Committee invites members and guests to attend a luncheon with special guest speaker Ms. Lynne Taschner, Energy Advisor, Corporate Strategic Planning Department, Exxon Mobil Corporation on “The Outlook for Energy: A View to 2040”
The Outlook is ExxonMobil’s global view of energy demand and supply through 2040. It highlights the dual challenge of ensuring the world has access to affordable and reliable energy supplies while reducing emissions to address the risk of climate change. Other key topics include trends in technology, efficiency, and fuels for personal and commercial transportation, growth in electricity demand, the evolving mix of power generation fuels, and trends and new developments in world oil and gas supply and trade.
About the speaker
Lynne Taschner is an Energy Advisor in ExxonMobil's Corporate Strategic Planning Department and a principal contributor to The Outlook. Lynne has worked for ExxonMobil for 25 years in a variety of economic and commercial advisory roles. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration & Economics from The King’s College and an M.B.A. from Lehigh University.
