AMCHAM Thailand is honored to present our distinguished candidates for the 2024-2025 term for the Board of Governors. The men and women listed below are leaders in the Thai and international business community, representing diverse industries including manufacturing, healthcare, education, hospitality, finance, natural resources, and the law.

The AMCHAM Board of Governors consists of 15 senior level executives from the AMCHAM membership who volunteer time and expertise to shaping the strategy and vision for AMCHAM. Each year AMCHAM elects approximately half of the Board of Governors to a two-year term. For the 2024-2025 term, eight board seats are up for election.
The Nominations Committee solicited nominations and recruited individuals whom they believe have the ability to serve the best interests of AMCHAM and its members. Candidates were announced at the Member Luncheon on September 25.
Each candidate for the Board signs a responsibility statement indicating that he or she is committed to the mission of AMCHAM.
Who is eligible to vote? Each Ordinary Regular or Ordinary Special AMCHAM member company is allowed one vote, to be cast by the designate or alternate of the company. Special representatives, affiliates, associates and honorary members are not allowed to vote.
How does one vote? The Board Elections are conducted online. The designate representatives for each Ordinary Regular or Ordinary Special member company will be emailed a ballot with detailed instructions to vote. Elections will close at the start of the October Annual General Meeting (AGM) at 10 am on October 25. Voting reminders will be sent when the AGM date is announced and again prior to election close. The eight newly elected Board Governors for 2024-2025 will be announced during the AGM.
How are candidates nominated?

Professional Background & Experience
Lena has more than 27 years of experience in overseeing multiple assets class in Strategic Investments, Mergers & Acquisitions, Industrial & Smart Cities development and currently sits on Board in multiple companies.
Lena was honored as a Young Global Leader by World Economic Forum (WEF) in March 2014. Lena has also served as the Chairperson (Audit) of the Singapore National Paralympic Council. She was a former Singapore Diplomat and won the Ministry Borderless Award in 2010. She has worked at British Telecoms and Standard Chartered Bank.
Lena is an experienced speaker and judge in many international fora such as the WEF, World Bank Conference, Belt &Road Forum, Mobile World Congress, and Microsoft Imagine Club.
Lena received BBA Honours degree and MBA from National University of Singapore. She completed Executive Leadership education from Harvard University, University of Oxford and Stanford University.

Board Governor Goals
With more than 27 years of experience in promoting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in ASEAN and global markets, I believe I will be able to contribute my expertise and knowledge in Trade and Investment to new American companies with interests to expand in Thailand and ASEAN. My company Amata also has good resources and contacts with the Thai government, I would like to encourage contribution and closer collaboration with AMCHAM to support new and existing members’ business needs. Having worked in both public and private sectors, my experience will be valuable to reach out to key Thai government leaders and facilitate meaningful exchanges for the AMCHAM board. I have also spent quality time working in the Silicon Valley, United States and received good Executive Leadership education from both Harvard and Stanford University. As AMCHAM Governor, I would like to share such valuable experiences and encourage further exchanges between Thailand and the United States. I am also very passionate in Women empowerment and youth development, I hope to spearhead meaningful activities or programmes in AMCHAM to reach out to promising women and youth leaders.

Ornkanya Pibuldham has served as the Chief Country Officer, Bank of America N.A since 2013. Prior to this she served as Managing Director, Head of Global Markets and Corporate Finance, Deutsche Bank. From 1996-2000, she was the Head of Institutional Sales, Standard Chartered Bank.

AMCHAM & Association Experience
I joined AMCHAM as Board of Governor during 2016-2020 and 2021-2023. I was elected to be AMCHAM President in 2023. As one of our goals is to be the most relevant chamber in Thailand, I provide support and guidance to AMCHAM management team especially in improving relationship with government entities. For this year, we strengthened our relationship and enhanced dialogue with MoPH, MoF, BoI, EEC and BMA. We were also a key driver for the Long Term Residence Visa which was launched earlier this year. Prior to my Presidential role, I was actively involved in the Government Affairs Council and the co-founder of the Women’s leadership Committee

Professional Background & Experience
A graduate of Imperial College London in Chem Eng, I have worked in England, France, the United States (5 years in New Jersey), the Philippines and Thailand. I started as an Engineer, became a Production Manager, then a Manufacturing Consultant, then a Manufacturing Director and I have now been a Managing Director for the last 15 years. I have worked in Chemicals, Food Ingredients and now Food and Beverage, with ICI, Ingredion, and Harmless Harvest. I have approximately 20 years’ experience in Thailand, though confess to only speaking "pigeon-Thai".

My first board experience was as the MD of Dole Thailand, managing the Non Executive Board comprising such luminaries as Khun Bangyong, owner of Kasikorn Bank, Khun Sivaporn, ex-CEO of TISCO bank, ML Admiral Usani Pramoj of King Rama 9's Privy Council. As a current Governor of AMCHAM Thailand it is an honor, privilege and a pleasure to participate fully in the life of AMCHAM, attending as many events as possible, leading the Food & Agri-business Committee and actively searching and inviting new members to join. I am totally aligned with AMCHAM's vision to promote business, trade and the economy in Thailand as well fulfill our Civic Duties as a goodwill ambassador for American interests in the region. I really appreciate the connections into Government that AMCHAM has and have enjoyed leveraging these for the benefit of AMCHAM members, especially my own company Harmless Harvest.
AMCHAM Board Governor Goals
Firstly, I would continue to be as active as possible, through the Business Today, Networking, Governors' Tables, committee meetings as well as continuing with 100% attendance at Board meetings. I will also continue to search for and invite new members into AMCHAM. I will continue to build relationships with Government and other institutions. I will continue to liase on the Food & Agri-Business Committee as well as taking up the liaison for at least one other committee (possibly Manufacturing). I will be a "brand ambassador" for AMCHAM, continuing to promote its interests at all opportunities. And last but not least, I will ensure my company participates fully in as many of the AMCHAM events as possible.

26 years of successful experience in leading and managing complex products and services offerings of Schlumberger, # 1 oilfield services company in the world and Honeywell, a multinational conglomerate corporation, in Australia, Indonesia, the United States, Russia, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Thailand. Recognized for inspiring management team to excel and encouraging creative work environments, providing clear strategic direction, fostering excellent customer relationships, tailoring sales and commercial tactics in ever-changing competitive landscapes, and driving overall operational and financial performance of the organization.

As President of Schlumberger Thailand, Myanmar & Vietnam, I was a board member of the Petroleum Institute of Thailand (PTIT) and the Thailand Technical Petroleum Training Institute (TPTI).
The PTIT board works to foster better understanding of the petroleum, petrochemical, and related industries in Thailand with emphasis on human resources development, information services, technical services, public policy, and regulatory support, to ensure sustainable development and competitiveness of the industry.
With TPTI, board members set standards for training courses in relation to petroleum exploration and production, emphasizing safety, development of skills, knowledge and competency of the personnel at international standards across TPTI’s six training centers in Thailand, working closely with the Department of Mineral Fuels (DMF) and the Ministry of Energy (MOE).
Board Governor Goals
I am running for the AMCHAM Board of Governors with the aim to promote the development of commerce between the US and Thailand, bringing Honeywell’s expertise in Aerospace and Defense, Building Technologies, Smart Cities, Refining and Petrochemical Technologies, Retail Productivity Solutions and Sustainable Technology Solutions, combining them with the capabilities of members’ companies to elevate the US company contributions for the success of Thailand as a leading country in Southeast Asia.
Current Honeywell projects include a Smart City project at the Rama 4 with Bangkok Governor and his administration, the first Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) project in Thailand with PTTEP, the first Sustainable Aviation Fuels project in Thailand with Bangchak, the first Smart Energy Software Suites for One Bangkok with Frasers, the first Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project with a customer in Vietnam, etc. These technologies along with solutions from members’ companies are important in helping Thailand drive its Thailand 4.0 initiative in line with the Bio Circular Green (BCG) economy framework.

Professional Background & Experience
I have a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Trine University and a Master’s degree in supply chain management from Penn State University. I worked for Ingredion from 2001-2019, holding operations leadership roles in North America and Asia, before leaving to lead AgriProtein, a start-up business utilizing insects to recycle food waste. I rejoined Ingredion in 2023 to lead their ASEAN business based in Bangkok.
I am passionate about driving sustainable solutions that result in positive environmental, commercial, and social outcomes for business and the community. I currently lead the Sustainability Initiative for Ingredion across Asia-Pacific.

Board Governor Goals
I hope to be very active in the area of sustainability, particularly in the agriculture space which accounts for the biggest portion of the climate foot print of our food supply chain. I feel there are a lot of opportunities for companies to collaborate for positive outcomes for their businesses, while at the same time improving the environment and the prosperity of the farming community in Thailand. I feel one of my biggest strengths is being a positive member of leadership teams. I am supportive and collaborative but also speak up when I feel we are not focusing on the correct issues and opportunities to achieve our purpose and vision.

Professional Background & Experience
Suchintana Viraratt, CEO of INSEE Ecocycle Thailand, a wholly owned subsidiary of Siam City Cement Public Company Limited. With 15 years of experience in Waste Management and seven years in Oilfield Services industry, she is leading a green business offering sustainable solutions by recovering energy and resources from waste materials and providing industrial services for various sectors including manufacturing, oil and gas, and government. Prior to joining INSEE Ecocycle, she held a Country Manager position with Weatherford, one of the world largest Oilfield Service Companies, covering Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Bangladesh. Suchintana holds a degree from American University, USA.

Suchintana serves as Committee Leader for the AMCHAM Thailand Environmental, Social, & Corporate Governance (ESG) Committee, supporting the ESG journey of AMCHAM members focusing on the challenges and opportunities of the transition towards climate neutrality and circular economy. She is also on the Board of Directors of Society of Petroleum Engineer Thailand Section, and recently a recipient of 2023 Regional Service Award for the Northern Asia Pacific Region for her contribution. In addition, she is also a Director on the Board of ESG Network under Thai Listed Companies Association.
Suchintana participated as a keynote speaker and panelist in various events to raise awareness on sustainable waste management, industrial services, and environmental protection such as “Turning Waste into Value – Waste and Recycling Business” hosted by ESG Network, Thai Listed Companies Association, and The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) event on “Indo-Pacific Program on Disposal and Destruction of Counterfeit Goods”.
Board Governor Goals
If elected as an AMCHAM Board of Governor, my primary aim is to strengthen the chamber's role as a catalyst for business growth and collaboration between Thailand and the United States. Leveraging my industry expertise and leadership skills, I intend to enhance AMCHAM's initiatives, benefiting both members and the broader business community. This will involve promoting networking and cooperation among members and relevant organizations, thereby increasing awareness of impending policies and enabling effective planning for sustainability objectives. This is particularly pertinent as we strive for net-zero emissions, a circular economy, and the adoption of ESG principles.
My central focus will be on advocating responsible business practices and fostering connections between American and Thai enterprises. My passion lies in supporting members on their sustainability journey. I believe that by working together, we can make a positive impact on the environment and promote responsible business practices for a better future.

Professional Background & Experience
Prae is Country Director of Facebook, Thailand from Meta. Her focused area is driving economic impact for the country by empowering businesses of all sizes in Thailand to better connect with their consumers and communities through digital and commerce.
Prior to Meta, Prae was a Managing Director and Partner at Boston Consulting Group, Thailand. She has advised clients in a wide range of industries and across topics related to digital transformation and growth. She has more than 15 years of industry experience and has worked across SEA.
Prae earned her B.S. in Systems Engineering from University of Virginia and her MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Prae is a strong believer in social impact and passionate about bringing positive changes to local communities.

Provide insights from tech sector in terms of our role in advancing business in Thailand and how we can we better collaborate with relevant business and government stakeholders in Thailand to improve our impact.

Professional Background & Experience
My journey with Minor International Pcl. commenced in 2009 and over the years, I have navigated various roles within the organization. From expanding my responsibilities in the investor relations to strategic planning and implementation, my career trajectory requires a versatile skill set and insights. In my current role as Vice President, I not only oversee strategic planning but also look after investor relations, public relations, and corporate affairs for the Group. Prior to joining Minor International, I was an investment banker at Trinity Securities Group, where I completed merger and acquisition deals for several leading organizations in Thailand’s hospitality and medical sectors, in addition to initial public offering and securitization.

I currently serve as a board member of Thai Retailer Association and I have been collaboratively engaging with other prominent retailers, key authorities and regulators to drive "ease-of-doing-business" agenda and promote efficient business environment. This strategic initiative not only fosters streamlined operations but also facilitates overall industry growth. Moreover, I collaborate with the Thai Hotel Association and other related ministries/ agencies to propose and implement various initiatives, aiming at expediting the recovery of Thailand's tourism sector post-Covid.
AMCHAM Board Governor Goals
My overarching goal is to drive for positive changes across key agendas; most of which are aligned with Minor International's strategic focuses. I am committed to fostering the growth and recovery of Thailand's tourism industry. By collaborating with industry stakeholders and AMCHAM peers, I aim to help drive initiatives that will expedite recovery and drive sustained growth in this critical sector. Additionally, I will continue to work with retailers to eliminate long-standing barriers to doing business, enabling companies, especially those of smaller scale, to operate in Thailand more efficiently and innovatively. I hope to enhance those SME's competitive advantages, fostering a more inclusive business environment. Last but not least, I also want to take part in the pursuit of sustainability to contribute to the long-term vitality of our environment.

Professional Background & Experience
My background as a chemist has provided a strong analytical foundation for a diverse career. By age 36, my interest to experience the world outside of middle-America has already taken me to three countries and more than four different industries. I have lived and done business as an entrepreneur in Thailand for almost eight years with long-term plans to stay and build a family with my lovely wife, who is a Thai corporate lawyer. I enjoy traveling and have visited more than 40 countries. I also enjoy golfing, cycling, running, brewing beer, and taking care of a tree farm in Suphanburi.

I have maintained an active involvement in AMCHAM since 2015. Initially, I participated in the Community Engagement Committee - helping raise funds and assisting with delivery of educational programs for the AMCHAM Thailand Foundation. In 2016, I transitioned to the Young Professionals Committee - engaging the younger generation of members (and future members), as well as raising funds for various Adopt-a-School projects benefiting rural Thai schools. I plan to continue my service for as long as the Chamber sees a benefit from my support.

As a serial entrepreneur and Small Medium Enterprise (SME) operator, I can relate to and represent the challenges faced by small companies investing in or evaluating opportunities in Thailand. With SMEs representing more than 80 percent of the workforce in Thailand, a stronger representation of SME leaders could help expand membership base and provide greater benefit to the SME members complementing the strong corporate composition of the current board. Although my experiences and profile may differ from the more recognizable corporate membership base, my vision is aligned with the Chamber’s. I believe my experiences can be valuable in helping more SMEs understand the benefits of joining AMCHAM while maintaining an active representation for those members as we work together to deliver meaningful impacts in Thailand through capacity development, advocacy, and networking initiatives.

Deborah is currently the Country Manager of Pfizer Thailand and Indochina markets (Myanmar, Cambodia, and Laos), where she oversees Pfizer Biopharmaceutical Group operations. Deborah leads Pfizer in its purpose of bringing breakthroughs that change patient's lives. Her focus is on driving access to innovative medicines by exercising both internal coordination and engaging external top-level representatives to lead the conversation and drive positive changes for public health in the country. Deborah is a seasoned executive with more than 25 years of in-depth and diverse experience in marketing, commercial operations management, and leadership at the local, regional, and global level within Pfizer.

Deborah is currently serving as a Vice President within the Board of Governors in AMCHAM Thailand. She is the board liaison for the Healthcare Council and the CSR Committee. She has been very active within the AMCHAM Board and representing the Board with key government engagements with the MOPH, BMA, U.S. Embassy and its visitors, among others.

As a leader in a leading pharmaceutical company that plays a crucial role in supporting Thailand with innovative treatment and vaccines especially during Covid-19, I believe I can continue to support AMCHAM’s mission towards retaining a good partnership with the Thai government while helping to support the American business community in Thailand remain strong with a united voice across all industries.

Professional Background & Experience
Currently employed in the legal sector as Senior Business Advisor, he possess in-depth knowledgeable in corporate matters and understands the inner workings of company registration in Thailand. His experience and understanding in Thai Law enables him to provide consultations in many legal areas.
His exposure in Thai Labor issues make him the "Go To Guy" when clients present labor problems. It does not matter which side you are on either employers or employees. He can quickly provide information and make suggestions on how to handle labor issues.

He is very involved in most events AMCHAM holds and his firm has already sponsored one student for the full three years in the AMCHAM Scholarship Program. He is extremely interested in programs that help less fortunate people.

That is a really complicated question to answer. I think the first step is to see where he fits in and get a feel for what is going on and contribute positively. It is hard to change what is unknown or what looks perfect from the outside.

Judy is a Co-founder and the Chief Commercial Officer of Remobie Technologies, a regional recommerce platform for consumer electronics with a team of 100+ professionals and an annual processing volume exceeding a hundred thousand devices. Leveraging her expertise in commercial strategy and supply chain management, Judy aims to build a financially robust, eco-friendly venture in the consumer electronics industry.
Before Remobie, Judy worked in general management within her family’s mid-market global distribution business specializing in chemicals distribution across 15 countries. Judy earned her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering from Northwestern University in Chicago.

Remobie has recently become a member of AMCHAM and has been actively participating in the BMA Sustainable Digital Classroom project. The Remobie Enterprise team is advocating to Remobie’s existing clients to donate their eligible devices to support AMCHAM’s objectives.

My main goal is to support American startups as they enter the Thai business scene. As an American Co-founder of a Thai startup, I understand the difficulties they face, from developing viable business models locally to dealing with legal and staffing challenges. I want to articulate these concerns with the board so that we can better understand and support these startups, and speak directly with startups to understand their unique concerns and advise them based on my experience.
I also would like to contribute to the overall Board direction using my knowledge of global trading in electronics and chemicals. In today’s rapidly changing global landscape, staying informed and spotting trends is crucial for businesses to remain relevant, especially for global entities.
Additionally, I am passionate about making workplaces more diverse and inclusive, especially for women who often face unique challenges. I am committed to advocating for fair business environments.

I am a strategically astute and socially skillful senior executive leader with extensive experience across manufacturing and consulting and an adaptive skillset primed for the technology industry. I have a successful record of delivering sustainable profit and market share through the development and management of high-performing teams with specific expertise in the Asia-Pacific region. I am adept at business development and nurturing beneficial international business relationships with multi-national customers and business partners, ensuring successful implementation on both the global and local levels. I am also a native English speaker who is proficient in Thai and French.

Having been an active and contributing member of society in Thailand for almost 20 years, I have a wealth of experience and depth of network to help support and further the goals and objectives of American businesses and interests in the Kingdom of Thailand.
I have worked with many of the key Ministries in Thailand helping to shape and direct policy in order to improve the investment landscape and ease of doing business in Thailand and believe this type of work will continue to be critical to the foreign stakeholders and investors in Thailand.
With previous board and Chamber experience over the past decades I can provide leadership and mentorship to the various working committees and other members of the Chamber.

Kwanjit is the linchpin of Seagate's government affairs initiatives throughout the ASEAN region. Her role involves orchestrating, executing, and continuously refining Seagate's government affairs strategy, intricately designed to fortify the achievement of Seagate's regional business objectives.
Kwanjit's regional role leverages her extensive experience collaborating with ASEAN governments, and industry associations. to catalyze industry advocacy plans that serve as a boon to the business and contribute substantively to the progress and prosperity of the nations within the region.
Kwanjit graduated from Chulalongkorn University with a bachelor’s degree in political science. She also holds a Bachelor of Law degree and a master’s degree in political science from the same university.

My journey with AMCHAM spans eight years, commencing when Seagate joined as a Silver Sponsor and later elevating our commitment to become a Platinum Sponsor. My unwavering dedication to AMCHAM continues as I steadfastly uphold my pivotal role in supporting its initiatives.
I currently contribute to AMCHAM as an active leader within the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Council and previously assumed the role of Co-Chair of the Trade and Investment Committee and Digital Economy Committee. My extensive experience collaborating with AmCham in Singapore and Malaysia, particularly during challenges like Covid, equipped me with the expertise to make meaningful and proactive contributions.
In addition, I also hold the position of Deputy Secretary General for the E&E Group, the Federation of Thai Industry, and active members of the US-ASEAN Business Council. I am confident that my role and connections with trade associations enable us to address and advocate for issues that benefit all members collaboratively.
Board Governor Goals
My goal for the AMCHAM Board of Governors is to position AMCHAM as a strategic partner to the government and business alliance by aligning it closely with our members' needs. I am committed to enhancing the value of membership through increased government advocacy, expanded networking opportunities, knowledge sharing, and customized business support. Through active engagement with our diverse membership base, I aim to ensure that AMCHAM continues to thrive as a platform for fostering connections, advocating for pro-growth policies, and providing essential resources in our ever-evolving business landscape. I pledge to represent members' interests effectively and contribute to AMCHAM's ongoing success. Together, we can cultivate a dynamic and forward-thinking AMCHAM community that serves all members efficiently and advances our shared objectives.

Professional Background & Experience
John Evans is a co-founding partner and Managing Director of Tractus, a consultancy, which has advised clients on more than 10 billion US dollars in investments. Leading Tractus from its inception in Bangkok in late 1995, John has helped it grow into a leading Pan-Asian firm with 60- plus staff across 12 offices.
During three decades in Asia, John has become a trusted advisor to MNCs, governments, and NGOs. He has held numerous board roles and is a recognized thought leader on economic trends and doing business in Asia. John is married with one daughter and is an avid cross-country cyclist. He studied East Asian History and Economics at Princeton University.
AMCHAM / Association Experience
The past two years has been a whirlwind of events, committees, and Board meetings as a Governor and Vice President. I am excited to run for re-election. I serve as a Board liaison to the Community Projects, Manufacturing, and Trade & Investment Committees. I have worked with my fellow Governors, Committee Chairs, and members so that AMCHAM: 1) offers stronger programming for members of all sizes and industries; 2) actively engages with the Thai government; and, 3) increases the commitment to developing Thai students through the Foundation and by expanding the program to offer scholarships for technical school students.
During two-plus decades of membership, I have been active and involved in many of the committees. I have contributed articles to TAB magazine and regularly participate in events. I am particularly proud of Tractus’ support of education for students in marginalized communities across Asia, as well as our support of the AMCHAM Foundation.
AMCHAM Board Governor Goals
As a Governor, I would channel my energies and focus on:
- Ensuring the voices of all members from SME’s to MNC’s are heard and factor into programing and events.
- Leveraging my deep Thailand and regional experience with the public and private sector to help improve the US business communities’ voice and position with the Thai government.
- Utilizing my extensive experience to ensure that AMCHAM continues to develop and execute its strategic vision and programs with good governance and sustainability.
- Providing strategic insights on Thailand's economic place in the region and what member companies can do to better compete.
- Employing my passion for giving back to help foster the growth of AMCHAM's scholarship fund as it expands to include technical schools.
