Professional Background & Experience
I am currently Country Leader of 3M Thailand. I joined 3M as General Counsel and Management Operating Committee with over 20 years of experience in private practice and as in-house counsel. I started my career as an associate at Coopers & Lybrand Thailand, moved to White & Case Thailand and Norton Rose Thailand and joined Michelin Thailand as General Counsel. Prior to taking my current position, my role at 3M was expanded to Women’s Leadership Chair and Diversity & Inclusion Champion and from the legal pillar, I was recognized as Southeast Asia Legal 500 Powerlist Individual in 2019.
AMCHAM Thailand or Association Experience
AMCHAM gives 3M (through me) an opportunity to work in collaboration with other AMCHAM members on something that is beyond doing business in Thailand to demonstrate on how we, as good corporate citizens, can contribute to the community to create a positive impact locally. In 2021, I co-chaired the Women’s Committee to empower women and advocate for gender equality where I worked with the Committee on event organizations including finding an external speaker. This year, I have moved to the Sustainability Committee as this is another subject I am passionate about and I believe that everyone should take actions to fight the challenges the world is facing, we can take part to champion ESG in local communities by educating on the importance of ESG and sharing our best practice. In June 2022, I led the webinar on the Importance of ESG for Private Sectors.
AMCHAM Board Governor Goals
I shared my thoughts on this at the strategy meeting early this year that we should take part in creating a bigger positive impact in Thai communities by showcasing what we do outside AMCHAM community. This will not only help us increase our relevance to external stakeholders on how we can add value to communities as good corporate citizens, but it will also give us an opportunity to develop relationship with local communities including local business partners. For example, we can leverage our best practice on diversity, equity and inclusion and how we incorporate UN sustainability goals into our core business through education and by sharing our best practice with those stakeholders. Through this, there will be more good corporate citizens and it helps strengthening our relationship with them for the good cause.
