Speaker:
Mr. Howard A. Wallack, MA, MSc, GPHR, acting Vice President, Global Business Development, Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) shares responsibility for the organization’s globalization strategy, bringing SHRM products, services, training, and HR content to selected markets around the world; servicing the nearly 10,000 international SHRM members in 140+ countries outside the US; and bringing worldwide HR best practices back to SHRM’s US members. He has 30 years of international business, non-profit, and association experience in close to 70 countries. Prior to joining SHRM, Howard held senior positions at the Latin American Venture Capital Association, Goodwill Global Inc. (a strategic international business development unit of Goodwill Industries International), the US Peace Corps, and the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) at the US Chamber of Commerce. In the HR space, Howard led the adaptation and roll out of a global executive management training program in more than 25 countries on four continents. A cum laude graduate of Hamilton College, he has a Master of Arts degree in International Affairs from Carleton University (Canada) and a Master of Science degree in International HR and Globalization from the University of Leicester (UK), and is certified by the HR Certification Institute as a Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR).
