Rapee Sucharitakul Talks about State-Owned Enterprises Reform

On May 24, AMCHAM members gathered at the St. Regis to hear Rapee Sucharitakul, Secretary-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and member of the State Enterprise Policy Committee, who spoke about reforming Thailand’s state enterprises.

Khun Rapee presented the Draft Act of State-Owned Enterprises Governance and Administrative Improvement and focused on state-owned enterprises (SOE) performance, the guiding principles of reform, the role of the state, and the new governance framework and strategic plans for SOEs.

Additionally, long-time member and former President of the AMCHAM Board, Kevin Beauvais, was honored on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of his hospitality management company InVision.
